STRENGTH TESTERS 14/02/2022

Strength testers are measurement devices used to test a great number of products and materials. They meet the requirements of a large number of fields of production.

Strength testers are used in many fields of production, including in particular: aluminium and other metals, shoes, pipes, glass and ceramics, leather, artificial leather, cables, paper, furniture, forestry products, car industry, electric home appliances, plastics, textiles, yarn industry, medical products, insulation, PVC profiles, building sector, flexible cellular materials and work safety.

With the developments in technology, we observe that new generations of test equipment such as tensile and compression test machines or bursting, air permeability or climate testers have also the capacity to measure the strength of materials. These are important test devices.

There are DVT DEVOTRANS’ testers that enables the user to conduct multi-purpose measurements, including strength tests.

Find below some of the DVT DEVOTRANS-manufactured products that are used to conduct strength tests.

Used for measuring endurance of materials. If the option of extensometer is chosen, high precision measurements are possible. With this test device it is possible to conduct open/close, rupture, tearing, compression, breaking, flexion, permanent deformation, puncture, bending tests on products.

RELEVANT STANDARDS

  • TS EN ISO 7500-1/527-3/6892-1/
  • TS 1398-1 EN ISO 527-1
