ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Crockmeter is an essential rubbing fastness tester used in textile laboratories to assess the colour fastness of fabrics under dry and wet conditions. It evaluates the amount of dye transfer from the sample fabric to a dry cotton rubbing cloth, with the result compared against the grey scale for staining. Available in both manual (CR-M.E) and electronic (CR-M.M) models, the device is equipped with etalon abrasive fabrics and conforms to ISO105-X12 and BS 4655 standards. The power-driven version includes a digital counter adjustable up to 1,000 strokes, supporting automated and repeatable testing for consistent results.
