Some basic information about the BCT test.
BCT (Box Compression test) is a test method used to determine the strength of packaging and how much weight it is able to bear during transportation.
This test is conducted to evaluate collapse resistance of boxes and packaging materials and their compression strength.
The sample is placed on the test machine or compression device and weight is placed on it. The weight will compress the upper surface of the sample. The weight is gradually increased and the collapse behaviour of the material is noted.
