Some basic information about the CMT Test (Corrugating Medium Test)
CMT (Corrugating Medium Test) is a test method used to evaluate the strength and properties of cardboards and pasteboards.
This test is designed in particular to test the strength of the so-called “corrugating medium” used in the manufacturing of pasteboard boxes. The compression force applied during the test and the collapse resistance of the sample are noted.
