IMPACT, FRACTURE TEST EQUIPMENT

Impact, fracture testers are used to conduct impact tests on materials and products such as plastics, shoes, pipes, metals etc. For impact tests, there are two methods: oscillation method and drop method. With the oscillation method, it is possible to conduct tests with a capacity of up to 50 Joule with a Charpy hammer or 22 Joule with an Izod hammer. In the drop method, a hammer of a specific weight is dropped from varying heights depending on the material to be tested and the type of the test.
