IMPACT TEST EQUIPMENT 06/02/2021

Impact testers are used to determine the strength against impacts of plastics, films, footwear, membranes, forest products, furniture, textiles, geotextiles, cables, pipes, aluminium etc.

The tests in this group vary depending on the standards applicable to each product. The tests conducted in accordance with international standards include: deformation, impact strength determination and fracture energy determination. These tests involve dropping a weight on the sample from a given height or hitting the sample with a hammer etc. to produce an impact.

Impact testers include in particular:

CHARPY-IZOD IMPACT TESTER DVT CD D 50IC to determine fracture energy of materials by subjecting them to impact;

EXTERNAL IMPACT TEST EQUIPMENT FOR PIPES DVT SAH BK90 to determine external impact strength of plastic piping and ducting systems by subjecting their outside to gradually increasing impact forces;

IMPACT TEST DEVICE FOR PLASTIC FILM AND PLATE DVT SAH F to determine impact strength of plastic films and plates by subjecting them to dropping weights;

IMPACT TESTER FOR MEMBRANES DVT SAH M to conduct fracture and collapse tests on membranes with the method of weight dropping ;

IMPACT TESTER FOR UNDERGROUND CABLES DVT SAH KAB27 to measure impact strength of underground pipes;

HEEL FATIGUE TESTER DVT TOP to measure heels of footwear and in particular of footwear for women against impacts;

SHOE TOE IMPACT TESTER DVT SAH A to determine deformation of metal or composite footwear toe protective pieces by subjecting them to an impact test.

Please watch information videos for more information on these devices. Information videos about the following impact testers are available among others: Impact tester DVT CD I, Impact test device for plastic film and plate DVT SAH F and Impact tester for underground cables DVT SAH KAB27 etc.
