Some basic information about the MFI (Melt Flow Index) test
MFI (Melt Flow Index) test is a laboratory test used to determine melting properties and flow rates of plastic materials.
It measures how much time it takes for a plastic material to melt or flow under a given temperature and a given pressure.
The MFI test is particularly important for the design, production and quality control of plastic products.
This test is widely used to evaluate the suitability of plastics and their capability of being processed for specific applications.
