LEATHER-CRACKING TESTER

LEATHER-CRACKING TESTER ZGT 7072 A ZGT 7072 A

This tester is used to examine the cracking degree for upper and light leather. Test is performed, using the clamping ring and pressing  steel ball against the center of the flesh side of the specimen with the speed of 12 mm/min. Whilst the pressure reaches 800 N, the distension height is recorded as the cracking value.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The leather-cracking tester is specifically designed to assess the durability of upper and light leather materials under stress. With a pressing speed of 12 mm/min, a steel ball (Ø6.25 mm) applies force to the center of a fixed Ø25 mm specimen, and the cracking value is recorded when the pressure reaches 800 N. Compliant with DIN 53325, ISO-3379, and QB 3812.7 standards, this precision instrument uses a load transducer and U25 software to deliver highly accurate results with a resolution of 1/50,000. The tester offers switchable measurement units (Kgf, N, G, LB, Psi, kPa), and its compact structure (45×36×45 cm) makes it ideal for laboratory use. This device is essential for quality control in leather production and testing environments.
