ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The cold bending tester for bitumen sheets performs tests in accordance with EN 1109, BS EN 1109, and TS EN 1109 standards by applying bending at 360 ± 10 mm/min to 50 x 140 mm specimens within a temperature range of -20°C to ambient. It uses an Ø 20 ± 0.1 mm upper rotating roller and an Ø 30 ± 0.1 mm lower roller. The unit operates at 220 Volt 50 Hz, with 298 x 327 x 200 mm internal bath dimensions and 3 – 6 bar air input. The test is performed in a standard-specified liquid, and all liquid-contacting parts are made of stainless materials. A built-in cooling unit, emergency stop button, and pneumatic lifting system facilitate operation and observation.
