A light cabin (or a light box) is a lighting instrument used to correctly evaluate and compare colours and images.
It is widely used for colour calibration and colour matching purposes.
A light cabin (light booth) creates a controlled environment and minimizes the effect of external factors so that colours can be evaluated in a concentrated manner.
Light cabins are used in a number of industries and fields of activity, including printing, textiles, plastics manufacturing, photography and graphic design.
