K 2022 Fair Meets DVT DEVOTRANS Expectations

After a 3-year break, the greatest fair of the plastics industry meets expectations. K2022 took place in Düsseldorf, Germany between 19 – 26 October 2022 with thousands of participants.

According to K-online data, the Plastics and Rubber Fair received 3.037 participants this year. A perfect communication was observed between the participants. 176,000 people visited the fair.

The K2022 fair was visited by 176,000 people from around the world. The visitors highly appreciated the event for the wide range of products it put on display as well as the opportunity it presented to have a mapping of the entire supply chain. 98% of all professionals declared having completely achieved their targets relating to the visit.

After the restrictions imposed on the movement of people over the last 3 years due to the pandemic which had resulted in all fairs coming to a virtual stop, K2022 had raised great expectations. This no. 1 event of the global plastics and rubber industry did in effect give a push to the industry.

The fair turned out to be a very fruitful experience for DVT DEVOTRANS. Here are the comments of the company’s CEO Mr. Hakan ULUTAŞ : "Contacting companies and professionals from across the world, promoting our own company and products with more people, conducting face-to-face discussions with our customers about their potential requirements, further improving our products in response to global requirements… are only some of the benefits we derive from this kind of events. This is why I find them so valuable”.

6K6A7618ULUTAŞ said: "According to data we obtained during the fair, a large number of companies from the industry, in particular from Europe, but also from Australia, Canada, the US, Malaysia, Peru, South Africa, Brazil, India, Pakistan, Egypt, Tunisia, Israel, Iran and so forth, visited our stand to examine our products and to discuss with us their expectations during face-to-face meetings that we had organized. It is for this reason, too, that I think the fair was generally very fruitful.”

ULUTAŞ said: "We try to take part in such events provided they enjoy a high level of participation in global terms and the diversity is strong. I think it is important to take part in such events in order to find new outlets for our products in addition to those countries to which we already export. We had been missing such international events during the period of global confinement caused by the pandemic.”

“On the other hand, soon after K2022, another event that I value very much for the sake of our industry, namely, the 31st International Istanbul Plastics Industry Fair or “Plast Eurasia Istanbul 2022”, will start. It will take place on 23 – 26 November 2022 in Istanbul. There, we will feel like hosts of the event and this is another reason why we value it so much. I believe this event will bring together in Istanbul different dynamics of the industry and be a great contribution to it.”
