DVT DEVOTRANS participates in 30th International Istanbul Plastics Industry Fair 26/11/2021

The pandemic and the lockdowns it caused had a severe impact on fair events in the plastics industry in 2020 and 2021 as in any other industry. During this period, manufacturers experienced serious difficulties.

Despite the pandemic and the lockdowns, DVT DEVOTRANS did not discontinue its activities and managed to adapt itself to the new global conditions.

In this process, DVT DEVOTRANS swiftly integrated with the fast-developing digital world where, in global terms, a major part of the orders are placed, and managed to increase both its production and exports volumes last year.

Uninterruptedly active in this industry since 1960, the Turkish manufacturer DVT DEVOTRANS has been exporting its products to countries round the world. It is the oldest establishment in Turkey in this industry.

In 2021, a year marked with frequent and prolonged lockdowns, activities were re-organized in order to make sure that consumers could have smooth access to all products and services. As a constant participant of all digital events of the industry, DVT DEVOTRANS was a pioneer in the industry in this respect too, in Turkey.

Thanks to the successful vaccination campaigns and the ensuing relative normalization, activities in the field of trade events have resumed. In this context, the European plastics industry fair, that normally takes place annually, resumes after a one-year interruption: Plast Eurasia Istanbul will take place on 1 – 4 December 2021.

DVT DEVOTRANS will be in HALL 5, STAND 517A during this fair and be happy to present its state-of-the-art products to its customers.

The latest of this event, the 29th International Istanbul Plastics Fair, took place in 2019 and received 1.085 companies and representation offices from 106 countries and 52.361 professionals from the trade.

In 2020, the 30th fair could not take place due to the pandemic. Now, the 30th International Plastics Industry Fair is enthusiastically opening its gates to visitors at TÜYAP Fair Centre subject to a strict observation of the global new hygiene rules.

Mr. Hakan ULUTAŞ, General Manager of DVT DEVOTRANS, commented as follows on the fair: "We had been very popular in the past fairs. Now, as everyone, we are adapting ourselves to the new conditions imposed by the pandemic in all fields of life, including fairs. We keep working taking into account the rules of a new world. We are looking forward to meeting our trade partners and customers on a one-to-one basis on the occasion of this event. Such events will increase our hopes regarding the future.”
