DVT DEVOTRANS WAS A FOCUS OF ATTENTION AT THE FAIR RUBBER EURASIA 02/05/2024

The fair Rubber Eurasia, a major event serving as a meeting point for the manufacturers of this specific field of activities and their target audience, took place on April 17 to 20 in Istanbul Tüyap Fair and Congress Centre. Over 170 local and international exhibitors participated and displayed their respective innovative products and technologies for the attention of the visitors.

DVT DEVOTRANS was a focus of attention in the fair Rubber Eurasia with its products addressing the requirements of the rubber industry.

Mr. Hakan ULUTAŞ, CEO of DVT DEVOTRANS, commented on the fair as follows: "The fair Rubber Eurasia is the only event in Eurasia in this field of activity. This is why it is so significant. It brings together manufacturers like us under a single roof and allows the visitors to see a wide variety of products. Generally, I can comfortably say that this was a successful event for us."

Rubber Eurasia, the only event of the industry in Eurasia, was a focus of attention from both local and international visitors. Panels were organised on such topics as compliance with global legislation, local conditions and sustainability in the rubber industry for the attention of the visitors.

The fair Rubber Eurasia, that serves as a meeting point for the major players of the rubber industry that are looking for solutions to the problems of the future and trying to shape the future,  was inaugurated with a solemn ceremony on April 17 and continued with a high rate popularity until the end of the day on April 20.

Mr. Özcan Doğu Kaya, president of the Rubber Association, commented during his inauguration speech on the role of the rubber industry in the Turkish economy and how the fair will boost the growth of the industry: "The fair Rubber Eurasia plays a major role in the development of our national economy thanks to its effect on other industries through what we call the multiplier effect. In 2023, we achieved 3,6 billion dollars’ worth of exports with an exportation price of 6.6 dollars per kg in the non-classified rubber products. Considering that this figure is only 1 dollar for Turkey as a whole, this is a great achievement indicating the high added value generated by the rubber industry.” He emphasized that “the digital and green conversion offers great opportunities for the rubber industry and the manufacturing industry as a whole. Thanks to AI, many matters, fields of production and sales channels will undergo a transformation and the process is already underway. That is something that we are observing. Our second leg is the green conversion. It also plays a major part in our industry.”

Mr. İlhan Ersözlü, CEO of Tüyap Fuarlar Yapım A.Ş. also commented on the fair.

Mr. Ersözlü commented as follows:, "This was the 11th of the fair Rubber Eurasia. The fair Rubber Eurasia is the only specialized fair in this field. The Fair has grown this year with respect to the last event. We believe that this fair will support more than one sector as far as exports are concerned. This fair hosted exhibitors that are leaders of the industry in their respective fields of specialisation. Over eight thousand professionals visited the fair. The exhibitors included manufacturers from Asia, the Gulf region and North Africa. We are confident that our Fair will contribute to commercial growth.”

With products and models covering most of the sectors of the industry from rubber finished products to raw materials, from machinery to laboratory technologies, the fair offered to the visitors an opportunity for seeing thousands of varieties under a single roof and physically following the innovations taking place in the sector.

The large number of visitors from such countries as Iran, Iraq, Russia, Ukraine, Tunisia, Morocco, Serbia, Georgia was remarkable. There were European visitors too.
